On December 19th, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association successfully held its Third First Member Representative Conference and the Inauguration Ceremony of its Third Council in Foshan. Zhang Jiaji, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered a video address. Over 400 representatives from the United Front Work Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Provincial Federation of Social Organizations, and relevant departments in Foshan and Yangjiang, as well as stainless steel companies from across the province, attended the event.

On the same day, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association held its Third First Member Representative Conference. The conference reviewed and approved proposals such as the work report, financial report, and charter amendments for the Second Council. The association also elected the Third Council and leadership team by secret ballot. Lin Zeyu, Party Secretary of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association, was elected Chairman of the Third Council.

Guangdong, with Foshan Stainless Steel at its core, is a domestic center for stainless steel material processing, trade, and distribution, and a key base for stainless steel product production. It boasts a significant industrial agglomeration effect, a well-developed industrial chain, and a prominent industry position. It leads the nation in terms of industry types, scale, number of enterprises, and market share, and has consistently driven and influenced the development of the national stainless steel industry.

The Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association, established in December 2013, is the first provincial-level or higher association in the domestic stainless steel industry to hold corporate legal person status. Over the past decade, the association has actively explored and tirelessly pursued a wide range of initiatives, including brand building, quality improvement, standardization, platform development, information dissemination, resource integration, application expansion, supply and demand matching, exhibitions, market expansion, voice of demands, protection of rights, market regulation, policy advocacy, and public welfare. Its work has reached ever-higher levels and expanded its scope, strengthening its brand image and industry cohesion. The association's role, value, and credibility have become increasingly prominent, making it a leading example of social organizations in Guangdong and a benchmark for domestic stainless steel industry organizations. It has been awarded national and provincial "Four Good Chambers of Commerce," "Excellent Chamber of Commerce Demonstration Site," and "Excellent Social Organization."

In his video address, Zhang Jiaji, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, extended warm congratulations to the association's newly elected President Lin Zeyu and board members, and extended sincere greetings to all members. He encouraged the new board of directors, under the leadership of Chairman Lin Zeyu, to work together and forge ahead, closely uniting and connecting with stainless steel enterprises across the province. They should further summarize successful experiences, continuously improve their capabilities, strengthen the association's cohesion and centripetal force, and continuously polish the association's brand. This will create new advantages for the association's construction and enterprise development, reach new heights, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of the province's stainless steel industry.

In his speech, Zhang Hongbin, member of the Party Leadership Group and full-time Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, spoke highly of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association. He said that over the past ten years, the association has been dedicated to its members and the industry, achieving numerous outstanding achievements that are worthy of praise. The association has been at the forefront of many areas, focusing on the overall situation, committed to the high-quality development of the stainless steel manufacturing industry, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of its members, providing leadership through Party building, serving as a bridge and link, combating the epidemic, and participating in rural revitalization and social welfare. It has explored many successful experiences and practices, achieved remarkable results, and has been recognized as a "Four Good Chamber of Commerce" by the National Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce on multiple occasions, establishing a positive image as a brand association in the province. Zhang Hongbin expressed three hopes for the association: First, strengthen ideological and political guidance and always adhere to the correct political direction; second, focus on the central task and serve the overall situation, strengthen confidence and boldly act to promote development; and third, strengthen the association's internal development and build a first-class chamber of commerce with Chinese characteristics.

"The new board of directors will strive to gather more strength, play a greater role, and achieve greater value," said newly elected president Lin Zeyu. "Over the next five years, the association will continue to strive towards the goal of becoming a first-class association that serves as a 'home for members, a window to the industry, a bridge between government and enterprises, and a pillar of society.' We will strive to be an industry organization with passion, vision, goals, a sense of industry mission, and a sense of social responsibility. We will continue to organize and carry out the "Quality Standard" improvement campaign, intensify efforts to promote its application and facilitate supply and demand integration. We will wholeheartedly build and polish the "Stainless Steel Premium Products, Guangdong Quality Manufacturing" industry cluster IP, and do our utmost to serve as a promoter, witness, promoter, and spokesperson for the development of the Guangdong stainless steel industry. We will diligently serve as a bridge between the government and the industry, and between the industry and its demands."
